Applications are invited for Yunus & Youth Global Fellowship Program 2021 of young social and passionate entrepreneur with an early-stage social business.

The Yunus & Youth Global Fellowship (Y&Y Fellowship) is a virtual, six-month program that is designed specifically for operating social businesses.

The program is free, with no fee or equity stake required, and the application season is now open for the seventh global cohort.

· Online Programs: Y&Y Fellows access training on an online platform, including interactive assignments designed to help Fellows build a strong business plan.

· Mentoring Relationship: Fellows and mentors (from Fortune 500 companies) are matched based on the needs of the entrepreneur and the strengths of the mentor.

· Tailored to the needs of each Fellow: The Y&Y team works closely with each Y&Y Fellow to connect them with the specialized tools and training they need.

· Insights from top sources: Y&Y offers Fellows the opportunity to learn from top social business thinkers, such as Professor Muhammad Yunus and researchers from prominent institutions.

· Business Plan Development: Fellows join an exclusively curated learning journey designed to address their main needs and challenges.

· Final Online Pitch Competition: Fellows have the opportunity to enhance their storytelling and presentation skills by presenting their pitch to an online panel of real investors.

· Y&Y Alumni Community: Fellows who complete all mandatory assignments receive a certificate of graduation and join our exclusive network (Global community).

Qualification

Y&Y Fellows are selected based on the following criteria:

· Applicants must have demonstrated dedication and commitment to building a social business and solving a social issue in their community;

· Willingness to receive professional guidance and to work hard to grow and develop their social business;

· Applicants should be a founder, co-founder or have full decision-making power in the organization.

· Applicants must be fluent in English;

· Applicants age should be generally between 18-30 years old with a few exceptions made for outstanding applicants over the age of 30.
