TOEFL iBT TEST PATTERN
Good understanding of the TOEFL format will give you a boast on the test day.Here is how the test is put together.
Reading: You get to read 3 or 4 academic test and you are allowed to answer 36-56 questions of your choice, all this take a period of 60 to 80 minutes and the score sale is from 0-30.
Listening : In this section, you listen to lectures, class discussions and conversations. and take note to listen attentively so as to answer your 34 to 51 correctly and this take a duration of 60-90 minutes and the score scale is also 0-30. After this you have take a break that will last for a period of 10 minutes
Speaking: In this section there are about 6 tasks, two integrated task that will last for 20 minutes and also 4 independent task which will last for about 20 minutes and the score scale of 0-30. And lastly.
Writing: Lastly in this section 2 tasks are given, 1 independent and 1 integrated task which will take a duration of 30 minutes and 20 minutes respectively.
