Nigerian Government Scholarship Award 2020/2021 for Nigerian Students

Application Deadline: 24th January, 2021.
Applications are open for all who are eligible to partake in the 2020/2021 scholarship award by the federal government of Nigeria. The award’s nomination shall be through a Computer Based Test (CBT) and shall be tenable in all Nigerian higher institutions.
Criteria for Eligibility
Minimum of first degree with second class honours (upper division) is expected of applicants for post graduate studies.
Applicants must be registered full-time students of any federal or state universities.
Other applicants from (UG, HND, NCE) must also be registered full time students in their second year/above in any federal or state universities, polytechnics, monotechnics, and colleges of education.
Applicants with HND, NCE must have 3.5 CGPA / above
The following are important to note:
The scholarship shall be considered tenable in Nigerian higher institutions.
It shall take effect in the next academic session.
Option of change of course shall not be available to the scholarship awardees
Participants must not be part time students or current beneficiaries of another similar award.

Science and technology
Law
Education
Agriculture
Liberal Arts /Social /Management Sciences
Entrepreneurial studies
ICT
Environmental

Candidates who meet the conditions given above should log on to the webpage www.education.gov.ng
Then on the homepage, click on “federal scholarship board”
Carefully read the guidelines.
Complete the online application form and then print the examination slip.
Needed documents to be attached
- Admission letter of your institution
- CGPA result of year 1, 2 and the rest.
- Current course registration form
- Current school’s identity card.
- State/local government certificate of origin
