Croatian Government Undergraduate & Graduate Scholarships 2021 /2022 For Young Christians in developing Countries (Fully Funded)

The Ministry of science and Education of the Republic of Croatia (Ministry) and Ministry of Foreign Affair (MFEA) are awarding this year scholarship of Croatian government scholarships for graduate and undergraduate university study to young Christians from developing countries

The Republic of Croatia has recognized the negative trend of religion minorities, primarily Christians on a global scale throughout the world, and within its scope of work in the field of international development cooperation is committed to respect and protect the right of religious groups in developing countries.

After completing their studies, the recipients are expected to go back to their home countries to contribute to the development of their communities and to building capacities and strengthening resilience at the local level with the knowledge they acquired in Croatia upon returning to their home country.

The National Strategy for Development Cooperation of the republic of Croatia for the period of 2017-2021 (official Gazerette No. 107/17:hereinafter:Natinal Strategy ) pays particular attention to the promotion of the interdependence of fundamental human rights ,peace, security and sustainable development cooperation policies and it is explicitly integrated into the first sectoral goal of the national strategy :the dignity of every human being.

It implies full committed of international development cooperation programs and projects in achieving sustainable development goals while simultaneously promoting dignity, fundamental human rights, and well being, developing human capacities and realizing full potential, regardless of gender ,status, affiliation, belief or place of residence.

STUDY LEVELS

Undergraduate University study typically last for three to four years. Upon completion of studies students are awarded an academic title of baccalaureus or baccalauraea with reference to specialization, which qualifies a student for a specialized work in art or science.

Graduate university typically last for one to two years. Upon completion of graduates are awarded academic title of magister or magistra with a reference to a specialization.

REQUIREMENTS

For the 2021/22 academics year,the scholarship is announced for the citizens of the developing countries middle East, Asia and Africa.

Selected candidates will be provided with a full academic year of Croatian language preparation course.

Interview date, process and venue for Croatian Government Postgraduate Scholarship

The results of the selection will be communicated in June 2021

HOW TO APPLY

Potential candidates are invited to apply for the scholarship by submitting their application via the e-mail addresses: skenzic@mzo.hr and mateoante.bosnic@mzo.hr.
The preliminary selection of applications will be performed by the end May 2021.
Applicants should submit a write up/motivation letter with a minimum of 250 words concerning the first choice of study and append therewith themedical certificate of candidates .Applicants should also submit their curriculum Vitae (in Europass format) and a scan of their high school or university diploma for the two previous academic years.
Applicants should attach a letter of recommendation from local parish or church community.
