$5, 000 Business Grant for Young Nigerian Entrepreneur by The FG & Tiimafrica
The Federal Ministry of Youths and Sports, in partnership with Tiimafrica has offered up one-time grant of $5,000 to Nigerian entrepreneurs. The beneficiaries however will be young persons between the ages of 25 and 35, who have 6 months financial records as business owners.
In a tweet via its official Twitter handle, the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports made this disclosure to the public.
The tweet reads:
“Need to scale up your business? Tiimafrica in partnership with the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports is giving out $5000 to young Nigerians between the ages of 25-35, who run a business and have 6 months financial records. Visit http://noya.ng or http://youthandsport.gov.ng to register #DEEL.”
Importance of this:
The Federal Government, Ministry of Youth and Sports in partnership with Tiimafrica set up a grant initiative under the Project 100 to help small business owners access funds which is much needed to advance their businesses.
It is expected that the initiative will yield to the economy both direct and indirect gain. Also, the passion of young Nigerian business owners will increase through the provision of funds to innovative and creative young entrepreneurs in the country.
Eligibility Information:
Those who will be considered for the one-time grant according to The Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports and Tiimafrica must meet the following minimum requirement:
- Applicants must be Nigerians.
- Age range must be between 25 and 35 years.
- You must have been running a business within Nigeria.
- Your business must have financial records of at least 6 months.
