ROMANIAN GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIPS 2020 FOR FOREIGN STUDENTS

Applications are open for the Romanian Government Scholarships 2020 for foreign students.
The scholarship program sponsored by the Romanian Government through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to foreign students is opened for application for the 2020/2021 academic session. The scholarship is open to foreign students from countries that are not members of the European Union for undergraduate and postgraduate studies in participating universities in Romania. The scholarship is way of supporting foreign students who are willing to further their academic pursuits in Romania by the Romanian Government.

Undergraduate, Masters and PhD
Tuition Fees, Monthly stipend, accommodation expenses
Architecture, Visual Arts, Romanian Culture and Civilization, Journalism, Political and Administrative Sciences, Education Sciences, Social and Health Sciences, Technical Studies, Oil and Gas, Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine.
The scholarship is for international students
Eligibility and Selection Criteria:
To be eligible for the Romanian Government Scholarships 2020 for Foreign Students, applicants are to meet the following criteria:
- Applicants must be foreign students coming from all the countries of the world except for EU member countries.
- Applicants must not hold Romanian citizenship, did not request for or did not obtain a form of protection in Romania, is not a stateless person whose residence on Romanian territory is officially recognized according to the law, is not a member of the diplomatic corps accredited to Bucharest or member of family of the diplomatic corps accredited in Romania, has not benefited from a scholarship from the Romanian state on the same course of study.
- Applicants must have obtained academic certificates issued by accredited and recognised educational institutions with excellent academic credentials.
- Applicans for the scholarship as at the 31st December of the year of nomination, not be above 35 years of age for bachelor and master studies and 45 years for doctoral studies.

How to Apply
Applicants are to submit their application forms together with the required supporting documents through diplomatic missions. Application files submitted by post or directly to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or to the Ministry of Education and Research as well as application files received after the application deadline will not be considered.
